This scene was a pleasure to paint. With the sun showing through the mist blowing across in front of it, the mist rising from the water on what proved to a very warm morning; created a mysterious feel to the trees before me, which being tall added to the overall feeling of spooky stillness

pretty, looks like our dreary mornings in boston a bit. we don't think them so pretty when we're walking in it, but you've certainly captured its beauty on paper. :)
