I read somewhere that tall people and, of course, attractive people, have a built-in advantage throughout life. I guess that makes some sense though I'd like it to be otherwise. Maybe it is changing a little but only time will tell. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art was once 5' 11' but as 'the crooked man' I'm sure to be some inches shorter here in northwest Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: Thanks, Denny! Yes, I'm reminded of the illustrations for War Of The Worlds where the Martian invaders were in machines with long spindly legs. It was a book I had growing up. Now, you ask, did I ever? Grow up, I mean. :)
