I guess if you have the art in you... you can find the patience for this style or any style of work when that desire is deep within you... I have no patience and could never do what you do with Pointillism.
Artist Reply: Kind of a story here. It’s my older brother’s fault. He brought me home a set of pen and inks when I was about 10 years old because he saw that I was always doodling animals. The kit he brought me showed different inking techniques and I loved stippling. My brother passed away when I was almost 13 and I’ve been doing pointillism kind of as a tribute to him ever since. Basically, I’ve been nuts for over 40 years now. Ha ha
