SUNDOWN AT MORRO ROCK features the popular and imposing landmark of Morro Rock which is situated on the Morro Bay beach on the central coast of California. After the sun sets, the sky glows in the early evening sky. I wanted to capture the colors and most importantly, the atmosphere in this moment. The only sounds were from the birdlife and the roaring of waves. Created on a 24 x 18 x 2 inch gallery wrapped canvas.
