The era of the telephone and the changes following life

Decades of daily phone use have died out for me.
Memories of those wonderful days, when many phone calls were an integral part of my reality.(Started at the 70's)
Many different friendships, were accompanied by phone calls of twenty minutes to an hour plus.
In many creative years, I changed different desks, from a writing desk, which I designed myself and my father ordered for me..
and later several desks that my father made for me. The phone is usually an inseparable part of the drawing desk.
In many years of creation, I tried not to call on the phone, while drawing and designing, for technical reasons.
The work on the drawing or the design requires many hours of complete concentration, for successful execution. Talking interferes with the accuracy of the work. The music accompanies and contributes to the work.
While painting I cannot answer the phone, because the painting work must be clean, without stopping the brushwork, in order not to create stains.
The work must be carried out as planned. An unplanned pause in drawing by phone can lead to mistakes in planning and drawing... the planned line can suddenly change following a phone call.
If I answered a company call while painting, then I dipped the brush in Nes coffee placed there instead of water.
In my spare time, I coordinated phone calls, and I would count at least six friends (and more), so as not to deprive anyone. When of course I had preferences. (80's,90's or the Millennium )
I never saved on phone calls, nor did I keep track of who called, or I didn't just pick up the phone and ring.
Even if the cell phone, smart has replaced the phones of the past... and despite huge technological progress, I prefer the times when I can talk and manage my phone calls without eavesdropping or interference from obsessive and sick people.
The day I realized that a certain person was listening to my phone calls, his value completely decreased in my eyes.
I gradually reduced my phone calls, realizing that I would not give him any pleasure by listening to my private conversations. or taking any information from the privacy of my life and creating injustices as a result, of the one quoted. The usurpation of privacy and real harassment.
Until a phone is invented that cannot be listened to, if at all, I will reduce phone calls to a minimum. I will always prefer meetings.

And by the way, I couldn't find a picture of my pink transparent button phone.

wonderful Story,,,,,these dialing phones I still remember as it was yesterday, for us the phone #s were easy to remember as we only had to remember 4 #s,as the prefix was the location of the city,,,,,back they we actually had cameras to take a photo & put it into a Photo Albums,we had so many memories to share by just opening up the Albums,,,today our cell phones are our Albums, thousands of photos to Share,& when we get a new phone we just simply download onto that one,,,all the memories locked in our cell phones,,can you only imagine if our phones were damaged beyond repair,or even lost,,,All our memories would go with it,,,I really enjoyed those dial phones,,,,we never had to look for them,as we do today with the cell phones,,,Thank you for sharing memories of our past.
