This is a photo of the Brickworks which originally was used to make bricks for the city. The land was then restored and has become a home to various animals, plants and tree species.

Great shot. I like old buildings.

Artist Reply: Thank you for the compliment Debra! Yes. I love old buildings too! We do not have too many in Canada! I liked going to Quebec City because the first European settlements came there so they have older buildings, but nothing compared to the very old buidlings in Europe! Paris, Rome, Greece, Italy...there architecture is fantastic!

Thank you so much Karen! I so appreciate that! A really lovely day at the Brickworks. A group non-profit called Evergreen has worked hard on the restoration and activities! I was with a nature group called TFN and learned quite about the history and they are a volunteer group that has walks, talks and supports nature projects in Toronto! My kind of thing! LOL:)

Perfect capture :)

Artist Reply: Thank you so much Karen! Thank you so much for you support and compliment! One of my favorite places to walk! It also connects various ravines in the city! :)

Nice photo! I especially love the story behind it. POD!

Artist Reply: Hi Blonde! Thank you so much! It is a real success story in restoration. It was a great big pit where they made bricks and they have restored it into marshes and fields. They have gotten a lot of input for indigenous people and it looks beautiful now! :)
