Seems 'travelling man' has multiple meanings today as well as a Masonic connection. I'll just say I was thinking of commercial traveler or salesman when I titled this. I was also thinking of all the people who, though they have the means to travel, are born, raised and die within 100 miles of where they originated. Even today with air travel so prevalent, many of my childhood friends and acquaintances still live in or near the place of their birth. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art thinks of himself as a renegade as he lives in northwest Austin, Texas, around 300 miles from the place of his birth and upbringing.

Gee, his leg arms must be tired, Charles : ) Your description is on target as many of my friends are still in Chicago or nearby suburbs. Nice color and drawing as always. Hope northwest Austin is treating you well

Artist Reply: I daresay they are as I perceive him moving about much as Toulouse-Lautrec did. And maybe a bit worse. It's cooler at night, warming to low 70's during the day. Overall, it's quite pleasant out. Thanks, Dave. :)
