It's interesting. If one is just possessed either by an idea or an alien entity, that's bad. But if one is self-possessed, that is usually defined as a positive or worthwhile trait. Of course, I guess, anything can be taken to the extreme and self-possession can become haughty arrogance and a superiority complex. I guess the old maxim 'moderation in all things' works here as well. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art tries to remain composed and self-confident if only to keep his own head above water in northwest Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: I just let the hand go where it may, Nikolay. The what and why of it after the fact is a matter of conjecture. My ankle hasn't been bothering me quite as much lately. Maybe that's the why of it, but I wouldn't do a cross the heart promise to that. Hope everything is going well for you and yours. :)
