Very few ask me about my work, they simply make generic comments based on bias and/or preference. Why, for instance do I not add buildings or room interiors or furniture? They are all beings in a natural, though stylized, setting. There is a mountain range that some call hedge. There is a single white cloud and a reduced being inhabiting same. They are usually similar though different, as all humans are similar but different. They are not whole because, for the most part, we are not wholly matured sentient beings. We may be one day but you would probably not like odds of that happening before we exterminate ourselves in one despicable way or another. This is an 8 by 4.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-paper. Original Jones Art, trying to remain hopeful on a rainy day in northwest Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: Thanks, Dave! Things are popping already and I'm happy we've been having rain---lowers the threat of wildfire. Hope you have a great 4th also. :)
