No, not Tibbs. I have approximately 200 drawings ahead for the year. I'm sure some won't make the cut but we'll see. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with gray Crayola on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art wonders if those trapped in their little heads actually know how trapped they are as he sits and ponders in northwest Austin, Texas.

In your latest works, the guy's eyes aim at something on his right. Before, they looked straight. Does this mean the author's political shift? Hope life's good, Charles!

Artist Reply: Nikolay, I'm not sure this will be a long-term 'shift' but if one or more of my characters are looking to the right, it is with considerable dismay. So far, life continues, good, bad or indifferent. I do add a teaspoon of optimism to each day's recipe with the hopes it will improve its flavor. Hope you are doing well also. :)

200 drawings ahead is hardly a slump, Charles : ) I'm sure Sidney Poitier would agree . Hope all is well

Artist Reply: Probably not, Dave, but I get the nagging feeling that however much I do, it won't be quite enough. It may have something to do with 'time' pressure---or it is more physical than existential? Anyway, it keeps me busy. Hope all is well with you and yours today. :)
