This is a small drawing that is to go in a small frame with mat and be given to my next door neighbor in appreciation of her mowing my small front yard last summer. It is my usual gel pen with color pencil drawing on heavyweight acid-free paper. She likes color so I put as much as I could into its 6 by 4 inches. Most of my drawings aren't happy-go-lucky and this one was started yesterday which wasn't the best of days. This is Original Jones Art trying his best and probably falling short in northwest Austin, Texas.

Looks like the guy's lids still keep the remnants of the last summer's mowing, otherwise why should they be green? Good week ahead, Charles!

Artist Reply: You are probably correct there, Nikolay. A little green goes a long way. Yes to us both having good or better days ahead. :)

It is colorful and quite the thank you, Charles . No doubt she'll be pleased : ) Hoping for the best

Artist Reply: I took it over to her just before dark and she and her husband seemed to be pleased, Dave. That new heavyweight paper takes the color pencil very well, I'm happy to say. It's also thick enough for watercolor and/or acrylic, I'll bet. I think it's the same as that thicker acid-free paper you bought. Hope the weekend is ending satisfactorily. :)

I'M SURE SHE WILL BE VERY GREATFUL

Artist Reply: Well, she gushed a bit over it, so I think it went over well, Joanie. Thanks!
