The ability to see patterns that others miss because they will not slow down to look and think. In this hurried world, slowing down to really study something seems to be a luxury few can afford. But tell me, how do we see the world as anything but a blur if we DON"T slow down and search for patterns? Patterns being the clues we need to understand. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art still searching for clues in northwest Austin, Texas.

Havoc for one is a perfect order for another. Same goes with patterns. They often hide for an unprepared eye and you normally need time to tune up your vision for them. Good idea to reveal some inner electronic circuitry, Charles:)))

Artist Reply: Well, the brain is an electrical device so I'm betting everyone has a different circuit board---some much simpler than others, Nikolay. Though I think consistent input might alter or add some of those neural pathways. As long as it's input of the right sort. Hope all is going well. :)

Right on the money, Charles ! Taking time is like the secret door to living. People pass by it sadly ... perhaps if there was a slow down app on their phone ... : ) Peace to you and your weekend !

Artist Reply: A slow down app sounds like a good idea if it didn't run counter to most things technological, Dave. At least 'technological' as we understand it today. At one time, the lowly pencil was hailed as an important piece of technology. My weekends, like my days, are usually pretty subdued. Not that I'm complaining. :)

Hey Charley, You Nailed it, slow Patterns is the answer to the speed World ! Super

Artist Reply: Yes, it's the slow and detailed study of the little things that adds so much to our enjoyment of existence. By understanding them, we begin to see the bigger picture as well. Slow down and smell the flowers. They too have something to say. Hope all is good for Denny today. :)

OH HOW TRUE CHARLES, NOT ONLY PATTERNS BUT THE MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF DIFFERENT COLORS. SO MANY MISS SO MUCH BEAUTY.

Artist Reply: Yes, Joanie, you see it too. I grew up in the country without cell phones or computers. I read a lot of the classics. I enjoyed long walks with nothing but the animals and the trees to guide and entertain me. The TV came into the house the year of my birth. Early television wasn't perfect but it could be educational and wholesome. One must learn to seek out the beneficial and to discard the damaging. Folks can't see the difference anymore. Ha. I sound like a preacher, I guess. Hope all is good today for you. :)
