This is a narrow drawing on a scrap piece of acid-free paper. When I came up with the name, I was thinking of radio frequencies. BUT when I researched, I found 'narrowband' also refers to social-emotional assessment in our schools. Popular narrowband scales for school use include those assessing anxiety and depression as well as those assessing autism and ADHD. When I went to school, they didn't really concern themselves with what amounts to the psychological evaluation of each student. Discipline was meted out democratically with some variation for what then amounted to two genders only. How silly and shortsighted we were. But I think this is very telling for our current youth as they wade through a world wherein they are told UP is DOWN so often they begin to doubt their own judgement and sanity. This is a gel pen drawing with gray Crayola measuring 8.25 by 2.5 inches. Original Jones Art wonders what it would be like to have gone to the Met Gala and be inside the heads of those wearing the massively expensive gowns and suits. He finds there is some advantages to being banged-up and housebound in northwest Austin, Texas after all.

To me, it's gone wacko, Charles . Anyway I like the narrow drawing and wishes a sane prognosis for the world in the future : ) Hope you're having a good week !

Artist Reply: The week has been good overall, Dave. No big ups or downs which can be a positive. Even keel is quite settling. Hope you are doing okay and doing and feeling what you need to get through this grievous time.
