In the old Westerns, 'bad' boys shot near a tenderfoot's feet and commanded him to dance. Also, just maybe, this character is just unwilling to dance to another's tune. It's all in the interpretation, I guess. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with gray Crayola drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art thinks the only way he could 'cut a rug' these days is with a pair of carpet scissors here in northwest Austin, Texas.

Nice work! I would rather be shot than to be forced to danced to the tune of another person. Standing up and dancing to our own tune is so powerful. Nicely done!!

Artist Reply: Thanks, Ricky! Nice to see you uploading again. Hope all is going well for you. :)

The scene in Goodfella's comes to mind when Pesci's character shot Spider's foot. Great movie but brutal . Hope you're having a cool day : )

Artist Reply: I don't remember finishing that movie, Dave. I thought, "Why glorify such base and inferior beings?" I never finished Forrest Gump either. The VHS tape ate itself and I was strangely relieved. ;) It rained early this morning and is still cloudy so 'coolish' might be apt.
