Defiant: proudly and openly refusing to obey rules, laws, or authority. I guess it's all about the motive behind the defiance. Sometimes it just means not bending one's principles to the breaking point or having reached to last straw in one will take. Artist Reply: City of Austin won't touch it---or if they 'would'---it would take a month or more wait to schedule it. That's why there's a plethora of 'critter removal' companies in the area that will charge several hundred dollars---if there's only one animal. I could have handled this once, you know. I already had the process down in my head, but the body won't cooperate. Nature continues to attack the old man, both external and internal. Ha.
