This tender piece captures a precious, cozy snuggle between a mother and her little one, rooted in a sweet memory of my oldest daughter, Kyra, when she was small and I was deeply immersed in drawing mermaids. Bringing this vision to life took a dedicated creative journey, meticulously adapting and tweaking my original art piece until it blossomed into this stunning, colorful figurine. It still needs a few tweaks, but for the most part, I'm really pleased with how this came out. Yes, this is a hybrid piece, but it takes several days of trial and error to get the look I am envisioning.
