Another image gleaned from the old hard drive. I was really into these cyclical, mantra-like exercises in 2011. I probably used these as meditation devices as my job was trying to kill me around this time. Funny, when you find some remnant of yourself years afterward, it's like going back in time. I used my usual gel pen with color pencils on medium weight acid-free paper. The size is probably something over 10 by 8 inches looking at the file size. Original Jones Art, that little face in the middle here in northwest Austin, Texas.

So nicely drawn , Charles with super attention to detail . Your cross hatching work is great : ) Chicago is definitely in fall mode ! quite chilly this morning. Hope you have a good weekend !

Artist Reply: We're in the mid-60's down here, Dave. These drawings were like playing musical chairs---round and round we go until we all fall down. Or something like that. Weekend week start, just another game with time limits. :)

Very nice series from the old drive, Charles! This one reminds of someone hiding in someone else's ear. Can ears have their stories? Hope Austin is flourishing.

Artist Reply: Probably why I am very motivated to keep my inner ear canals clean, Nikolay. Maybe that's why some folks claim to hear voices. Austin may be flourishing but some of us are languishing. Alas! Hope you on the flourishing side of things. :)
