This was an experiment of balance. I wanted to create an image where the eye would be equally drawn to the background and the foreground. The original does seem to effectively create that conflict. I don't know how well it will work in this venue. The background is done is charcoal, the girls are prismacolor.

This is a very interesting drawing. I like the combination of the older women (especially the one with the shirt tied) that is going for a slight #@&y look, to the black and white #@&y couple in the background.francis kwok peng kin 23 Apr 2005
