While waiting for the "Epiphyllum Hybrid" to bloom,I was thrilled to receive from ,Eva-Britt Andersson a gift with a card.It was the most suitable gift and card for me,Eva.The card even manage to brought a tear to my left eye ;-).The card is a watercolor by Carl Larsson(1853-1919),one of my favorite artists...In the card you can see a warm room,a young woman a weaver ,perhaps his wife Karin, who was a textile designer...and whom he love very much.On the table a table cloth and this plant "Epiphyllum".....More..For many years I have in my bed - room 2 framed cards of Larsson, which I received as a teenager from a pen - pal from Denmark...AND acctually I knew nothing of Larsson, until 2 years ago ,I saw in a book-store a book, immediately I recognise his style, though did not remember his name. The book was on sale...and I bought it. In this work of mine,I try to bring a warm atmosphere of home...I use 2 Acrylic paintings of mine,and...few photos from my home...my cat silk,Eva's cat Hugo..and of - course...the "Epiphyllum Hybrid".....Eva,THANKS ALOT!! ...One cycle ends and a new one starts... This is wonderful Nira! love how Hugo is having a 'cat nap' on top of the cabinet, and Silk is leaping off the furnature! This collage is full of homeiness and warmth. Love the added colours and patterns to the cabinet, the digital work is wonderful.. the flowers are a lovely, and bright addition to this piece and work wonderfully!! Love the zoomed in photo below as well, such a gorgeous flower! I can't believe I missed this before!! {{Hugs}} :o)John Graham Inkson 10 May 2005
