The Tale of Leda & the Swan inspired me to paint this picture.According to myth,the God Zeus approached Leda while he wasmasquerading as a swan.Indeed, Zeus made love to Leda in this form.This union has influenced many artists. I show the moment before they made love and emphasize Leda's feelings about the inevitability of this union.
