way cool... world artist is what you can be called... it is a new job description on careerbuilders... in fact many media companies including all the gaming comunities pay big $$$'s for this art...

Great work! Terragen with some sort of photo filter? Whatever the case, you did an excellent job with the lighting and colors.

Artist Reply: Thank you! No photo filter involved. This is pure Terragen. I only sharpened it a little upon resizing.

This is absolultely beautiful, where is this location?

Artist Reply: Thank you. This is a digitally created image. The Digital Elevation Map used is of Mount Rainier, in Washington state, USA, if I recall correctly (rather than in Oregon). There was no photography involved. The atmosphere that produces those rays was strictly my modification of someone else's atmosphere, originally made through a tutorial.
