john, this is easily one of my favorite works of yours. You have inspired me to take on some realistic renderings.

Artist Reply: well I am humbled and honored that you would say such a thing. If my work can be an inspiration to any artist, it is worth doing for that reason alone.

Thank you for spurring my imagination to fill in the 'blanks'! Lost edges are so intriguing!

Wonderful lighting and chiaroscuro effect John. I'm amazed at your ability to pump so many incredible paintings out...What's your secret?? I know, just good ol' fassioned hard work, dedication and perseverance, right?! Splendid work.

Artist Reply: work fast, work late (less distraction) and drink alot of coffee. I appreciate your comments...you are a gifted artist.

Good enframe. Body shadows and red is magnific.

Artist Reply: red has become one of my most favorite contrasting values. You dont need much to make a strong statement.

VERY MASTERFUL WORK , LOVE HOW THE LIGHT IS COMING IN FROM A WINDOW FROM THE LEFT,AND THE RICHNESS OF COLOUR.

Artist Reply: actually, its a spotlight. But light from a window would be more romantic. Thankyou for your sensitive thoughts.
