Sulfurus

This is one of my visions of another planet. Needless to say, this is digitally rendered. This image, you could say, was born in blood, sweat, and tears. I spent quite a bit of time setting it up in the first place. I sort of liked the original sky, but I like this one better. The first time I attempted to render this, I got a blue screen of death when it was in the middle of its last slice. :( The second time, something didn't record right in the world file, and I got the wrong surf, and I didn't find out until it was about half rendered, so I rendered just the land and water again. Then I decided to use a different sky, so I had to search on the terrain until I liked the sky. Finally, I had to combine the two, and the program absolutely refused to implement the mask I selected. But I got it done and here it is. In a few days, I will upload print files for many of my recent Terragen images. If you are interested in any of these, please check back in about a week. © Pat Goltz Thank you for your comments. I greatly appreciate them! Edit: For some reason totally beyond my comprehension, the thumbnail of this got messed up royally. I don't see the reason for it, but I will email the administration and ask them to fix it.

Pat, you are the queen of extraterrestrial landscapes. This looks like it came right out of an astronomy book in the chapter that discusses extrasolar planets. I love it. I must see more of your computerized landscapes but I need to go to sleep soon. I totally understand your computer frustrations. My old one was giving me a hard time when I tried to print altered photos to use for a CD album cover.
