Life Begins Again

A vacation photo from Aruba. It was as though this wall beckoned me to photograph it. The color and aged textural elements reminded me of a map. Then I saw the tiny little plant sprouting from the center of this parched wall. Life begins again. Copyright/2005 by:Charmaine Bartlett Artist/designer

love this CB... obviously I would thrive on this texture in my own work. We seek similar visual enticements.

it looks like it could be a really ancient old map, and the grass is an island

I love the intention behind this piece as much as it's execution - the color IS fabulous - well done, Charmaine!!

Absolutely my cup of tea...gorgeous crumbling textural heaven! Looks like a map of the Maldivian atolls to me :)
