You have such a gentle touch with the pencil Terry. How do you do it? I feel so heavy handed. You've really got the gift!

Mayme Crouse 21 Dec 2005

You did an awesome job........the layout for twin 1 and twin 2 is great........together yet seperate.

Sarina Renee 20 Dec 2005

Beautiful. I like how he goes into the framing. I never think to do that. Always afraid that they look chopped. Yours looks as though he's peeking through a window at us. Outstanding details. The blending is fantastic. The little light around the collar is brilliant. Did you use an eraser or a white pencil? I haven't tried white yet, but have been thinking to. Outstanding work!

Artist Reply: I use a kneaded eraser to pull out highlights...

Fantastic pencil portrait work.

Ana Tirolese 20 Dec 2005

Oh my, they do look a lot alike, do they not??? Excellent work again. My I ask why to matted it way off centre? Was there any significant meaning in this?

Artist Reply: no reason for it being off center, other than I liked the way it looked, less traditional and it just felt right to me
