Shoe polish & Ink1972 Self portrait 2006 art frame

(C)1972, 2006 This self portrait was originally done in 1972 on yellow parchment paper with ink and shoe polish.and acrylic gel medium.The work was then mounted on Bristol vellium. The multi-colored frame was painted via computer with "Paintbrush" in 2006.

Hi Elton, I think your self portraits are stunning.. and I'm intrigued by your choice of mediums. It has encouraged me to go ahead and enter a new.. maybe a couple of works I have done. One completely in Paintbrush. Hmmm.. who could have known my muse would come. Thank you!

Like the self-portrait more than the frame......it reminds me of something but I can't think what right now. Will let you know when it comes to me lol ! Good work, Elton...long live the unconventional !
