This is part of "The Wall" memorium in DC....I did it to honor two of my fallen comrades. One died instantly of small arms fire, and the other 30 years later...both of wounds sustained in Vietnam. Honoring Patrick Michael Goble and Kenny Guthrie, and the 58,000 others that didn't return. Copies of this sketch also hangs in some VA offices across the country.

A war that led to and strongly contributed to the bankrupcy and later collapse of the nation the backed the North Vietnamese,...the Soviet Union. Those 58,000 and everyone else who fought that war are the real hereos responsible for the end of the cold war, the freeing of Eastern Europe, and changes which brought an end to the Soviet Empire. And all those who fought in Korea too. All the strategic bomber practice missions. Those who use to man the silos,...a lot of which are empty now. Remember the big picture your picture represents!!!
