NEW ORLEANS and KATRINIA:...before...

(c) 2006 Elton Houck.....Katrina and New Orleans...I cut short my series of Little Kingdoms which I shall finish uploading at a later date...I felt this gnawing at my gut to say something about the Hurricane and the deplorable circumstances afterward...I am not a political puundant...not a man with a political agenda, but I am a human being, and as such must not turn my face away from that horror we call Katrina...and the suffering humanity of New Orleans. I being a Louisana boy, know that the state bears a legacy, an infamous one of political graft and greed and misconduct...It is not my position as an artist to write the saga of that sad history...but as an artist, it is my duty to express the pain and joy of what was, what should have been , and what is left of the dream called "the big easy" In this series, the first 4 pieces must be viewed together for the story to be told...I am not soliciting your comments by asking you to view all 4 of the pieces being uploaded now, but for your understanding of a myth and legend once know as the Jazz capital of the U.S.-("-NAWLINDS" as the locals call it) --New Orleans...a ghost still haunting our reverie... ===+++NOTE++++===== -----------------------viewing sequence:--------------------------------------- (1) NEW ORLEANS and KATRINIA: ...the glory days... (2) NEW ORLEANS and KATRINIA:...before... (3) NEW ORLEANS and KATRINIA:...after... (4) NEW ORLEANS and KATRINIA:...now...
