Mother & Child II (Gianna and Theresa)

This is a follow up of the first Mother & child I did that was of my newgranddaughter, Gianna, and her mother, Theresa. Gianna is now 18 months old and growing into another beauty. Created by scratch, not a photo manipulated work. I used the wacom tablet and Painter IX program to digitally paint this portrait. I used mostly air brushes, and blender tools to paint this one.

Artist Reply: Thanks Jennifer. I painted this from 4 reference photos I took. Gianna was busy stuffing her face and covered in food, but I don't have to paint that part. She is so busy running around when she's visiting, it's hard to get her to hold still for photos. Still, if I take enough, I can find the facial features I want to use and make a nice painting.
