A pastel chalk of a Native American Elder in a contemplative mood. Inspired from a photo I admired in an old issue of National Geographic, this portrait is a practice study for developing technique.
your talent is beyond compare. this apstel of this elder is excellent. you are great draftsmen, you r tecnique is masterd and your abiltiy to create mood is grande/ jamie
Hello Dear kathryn, I wanted to tell you that I admire your talent and the time you take to create such wonderful portraits. This one is exceptionally beautiful, I like the details and the restful mood and unusual colors. It seems like we can almost dissolve into the persona of this one with the subject. Excellent work. I also wanted to thank you for the comment on Bandit's picture. You touched my heart...Thank you for the prayers, it means so much to me. Bandit is such a loving boy. He is nine years old and an epilleptic. He had a bad attack the other morning and was crying really loud for awhile. It gave me a real scare. I don't want to put my burdens on everyone but I do care if you pray for Bandit. The more prayer the better I believe. So I wanted to ask for your help in that respect. You made my day, honest. I am pleased to know you and be your friend. I hope everything is going well with you and you are happy. I always love your art. You are great! So much love to you My Sister! Sincerely CB Big Hugs!!!
