Artist Reply: Thank you Tazda! I like to study the plants from leaves to buds and seeds. If I go to paint them, I want to be able to do them accurately. My blossoms are huge this year, so I got good photos.
Artist Reply: Thanks so much Emily! This are favorite landscape flowers out here as they grow fast, tall, and can take the heat very well. They can be pruned to grow shaped like a tree as well, but I like the whole bush to be full of blooms.
Artist Reply: Thank you Corry! I've yet to do the really red vivid ones. They really are the ones that catch your eye. Will post some once the wind stops blowing sometime this week.
