This is a fun piece I did last year for my brother and his wife. I just sat down at my desk and let the image happen freely and without planning. I wanted to do something different and play with basic shapes and colors. I really liked what I got. In the end, though, it looked lifeless. I love bamboo and I have some of it in my home, so I grabbed a piece and added it in. The effect was soothing and seemed to pull it all together. Now this is one of my favorite pieces, I hope you like it, too. 15x20" 140# Canson paper
