Believe it or not...

© 2006 Armando Salas. ---------- I collected comics all my life. When I was 11 years old, no photocopiers, no money enough (after a civil war)...My favorite comics character was "El Cachorro". I still adore absolutely to draw pirates!!! I had the complete collection (213 comic books) except #1, #21, #23 and #34 (I still remember that:-))). No chance to buy them (unavailable). A friend of mine had them... and I decided to do a copy, drawing the entire comic books. Of course, after 16 pages, I was soooo bored and tired...! And my work (and illusion too) finished suddenly:-))) Nowadays, I have a facsimile edition:-)))--- Upper image: #1 cover. Bottom image: unfinished page. Pen, indian ink and watercolor on BAD paper. Memories... :-))) These originals are from 1957:-)))))))

You copied the whole comic? Wow! Well, you did a splendid job of it. Looking at the cover reminds me of the excitement of getting the latest issue of my favourite comic when I was a kid.
