This is an image from a calendar that some women fighting for environmental rights on Salt Spring Island, B.C., put together. I thought this picture was particularly beautiful. The woman is obviously pregnant, but the thing that is not so obvious, is that the tree she is standing in front of is a "Nurse Tree", it has a sapling growing out of the top of it.
