September at Chinook Pass (1)

Fall comes early to the high country above 5000 ft. The colors start to turn in late August, but are truly amazing in Sepember. Chinook Pass allows you to see the colors in all their glory from your car. But just a short walk (or a long one if you prefer) can take you away from the real world to a spectacular landscape with clean crisp air and nothing but the sounds of the wild.
