These photos (and others to follow) were taken Sept. of 2004. This was the first time my daughter and I had hiked to Hidden Lake, although we had been on this trail earlier to a different destination. We enjoyed the fall colors so much that I brought my best friend on the same hike the very next week. The colors were so amazing that I had to see them again before they were gone. This trail passes 3 smaller lakes on the way to Hidden Lake. This is the 2nd one called Clover Lake, 1.5 mi. into the hike. This is a beautiful place for lunch if you don't want to go farther. Believe me, it gets better from here...... :)
