This is an abstract painting painted in oils utilising a layered sub-strature and an impasto overlay which is wiped away to 'reveal' the layers beneath. Additonal swathes of rich thick impasto oil was then applied to complete the picture. Sold

Artist Reply: Thanks Olga, This was sold sometime ago prior to decent digital cameras and my skill at using them being developed/in use. The painting has been sold. I'll try to get an old picture and see if I can digitise it in a software package to produce a better /larger image - bit of a challenge. Thank you. Tony

beautiful colors and blending. the way the colors jump remind me of rothko. i am especially drawn to the dark vertical line on the right bottom
