Made this painting after a trip to Russia in 1990 to run the Moscow peace Marathon. Made additions after 9/11.It is an educational piece used in veteran programs that I take part in

more important things than poloticians to paint, though the portraits are good, i'm not to sure about the choice of subject, a lot of work went into this i see

Artist Reply: All the portraits are icons for a more extensive historic study I am working on. I didn't do this just to paint political portraits but to make a complete study of all the ism's that are responsible for all the struggles and wars of humanity in my lifetime. It is an ongoing project.
