Horses can sit but they don't. You'd only see a trained horse sit down although foals might do it momentarily while they stand erect. The haunches would be directly between the front legs not out to the sides like a dog or cat. This is filly Buffalo sitting by a pond waiting for someone(Originally). In the distance it is hazing and pouring down rain.Where Buffalo is at it is dry still. The tree is the tree out of my front yard and I think its a very good tree.
