Vodou a la Van Sant Unlike authentic Vodoun altars that are created and maintained for the loas, I have created mine for people. With that in mind, most of these libation bottles are individual pieces that are for sale. If one particular bottle speaks out to you, you should probably possess it.

Artist Reply: Yes it is. I went though a phase, but I don't buy it anymore. In these pieces it's meant to represent that spiritual (and literal)value that animals gave to man, especially Native Americans that some times believed every brave had a different "animal spirit" within their soul.
