Mm, not much to say. Originally this character was part of another sketch. I had sketched him with his hand resting on the head of a little girl who was clinging to him with a blindfold on with blood like she was blind or had no eyes or something.. some kind of wound to make her not see. It was like a big brother and little sister. I didn't like how she looked so I erased her out of it, changed his posing a bit and made him more evil looking. To note, he is a guy. Just very feminine looking. I wanted to point this out because my brother came over to visit tonight and when he came in I was working on this and said something about it looking like a girl. I said that it was a guy and he said I should add armpit hair then. Guy or not, I'm not doing that. Hair is just not attractive lol Unless on the head. :P Anyways, onto the technical crap. I wanted to experiment with new stuff. I was inspired by a couple artists with this piece actually and I have always wanted to try a bold look where even though there was a main color like black with no shadow or highlight to it, it'd still resemble something besides a blob. I will admit, it's harder than it looks to paint in just one color. You'd think you could just do it and it come out right.. but you have to seriously watch your definition of shape and stuff with it. It's a fun challenge though! So if you don't think it's all that great, that's fine. I was just playing around and experimenting. This picture isn't for any job or commission and it was a piece to wind down from the long week of bashing my head in with art. Hope you enjoy. Cheesy title and all. Original is rather large so this is a smaller version. Not much details lost in the resize so no close up shots. This definately has the potential for a beautiful print. Might offer it as one. *shrug*
