A technique discovered/invented after years of experimentation yeilded this and a whole series of paintings which are unlike any I've seen. The extremely minute detail and an organic quality triggers a primordial social instinct which causes the viewer see many human like and animal faces and body parts as the brain scans for something familiar and finds nothing.

Yes, this is interesting. The brain always try to 'find' something it can latch onto even in non-representational work like this. When I was bedridden as I child, I used to stare up at the ceiling and see objects, faces, figures, etc. Some of that 'sensibility' goes into my work even now. Interesting and intriguing work, R.R.Jerry 11 Apr 2007
