These crystal clear pools are inviting, but I wouldn't recommend these slides unless you have a helmet on your bottom. The first pool is 4-5 ft. deep but the exit from the slide isn't.... :) The second pool is even shallower but both places are great for a quick cool-off on a summer day. Had we had the time, and swimsuits, we would have been tempted. There are other places along the trail that are somewhat crowded with people and their kids cooling off.
