I ran across Carlos the Cowboy at a mountain pond where he was watering his horse. He explained he had traveled for a couple months this winter and his horse had become quite heavy while he was gone. We were on our way up to the peak while he was heading back down after the horse had cooled off. While we were taking a breather I spotted him in the meadow below grazing his horse. It was a pleasure talking with Carlos and the picture isn't bad either.
