This woman, one of the few people still living in Ait Benhaddou, showed us around the portion of the Kasbah she lived in. I believe there are only 6-8 families living in the kasbah itself. The kasbah is much more primitive than many of the tour photos would have you believe./Property of Don Roberts

a very human portrait, she has a face that can look 2 different directions (grandmotherly with love and then totally the other direction - guess it depends on the viewer at the time)...nicely done.
