Artist Reply: Haha Hiya Lisa, did my abstract leave you flustered :) I like the end aprt where you say "abstract is beyond you", because you have answered what its purpose is perfectly lovely, it lets people re-invent what they see ~ create their own visions :) My work doesn't really mean anything to me consciously, I just use balance and colour scheme to decide if it offends or not :) I guess I just like to find use for "too much art" in my PC :) Really appreciate the drop by, and for the first time in such a long time someone has told me what they think. Artist Reply: Hi Mickey :) Thanx for the visit friend. Just been to your folder and had a browse around. I see we have similar tastes in thoughts perhaps and styles, just different methods of getitng there :) I mentioned 60 layers because often folk who visit have lttle or no idea what a layer is and why it is significant. If I tell folk how many layers there are they at least tend to think "ooh 60 is a big number" I use as many as is neccessary, sometimes a handful, sometimes hundreds :) Take care, yours Laz.

Artist Reply: Hi Jenx (the original lovely), perhaps it is "those friends" who are my driving force, that guide to me create works that are "incomplete without the Statues". Without friends such as you, I fear I would simply stop, and the Statues would become simple metal objects on Crosby beach once more & mere memories in my mind;) Thank You for everything, yours Laz.
