Joanna, This is an amazing photograph. Although it has the effect of an optical
illusion, it also heightens the physcial and emotional character of the baby gator. All baby animals seem to have a special innocence expressing their sense of wonder before they are forced by nature to develop their predatory instincts. The blend of textures and colors transforming it into a abstact image gives the photograph a surreal dimension. Is he one of our cousins?
