This painting is brought to you by my miserably hot dogs who keep begging to come in so they can fight over who gets to sit in front of the fan. It has been disgustingly hot here in the Sunny Okanogan Valley this week and my only way of coping with it (beyond fighting for a spot in the kiddie pool in the back yard) is to start a new mini series "101 Ways to Cool a Corgi". This is number one "The Fan". I suppose I won't actually paint 101 of these but I plan to do a few until the weather breaks! This delightfully whimsical little piece is painted on a highly-collectible 4 x 4 inch stetched canvas for the delight of the Welsh Pembroke Corgi or canine enthusiast. Original in the private collection of K. Kellerman.
