This is a view from a hot air balloon of the the Goreme Valley in central Turkey. This valley was formed by centuries of erosion of the soft volcanic rock. The interesting thing about this area (besides the incredible scenery) is that every bit of flat land is used for farming. Even small areas that are barely accessable because of the erosion.
