Jean, What a fantastic photograph. I love doors, the suggestion of something that lies behind. My dogs Molly and Mikey disagree since dogs are often on the wrong side of the door. I agree with Rivkah that the wood and so many elements tell a story about who lived there and the mystery behind closed door in every country in the world. I imagine there are books on doors or there should be and your photo would be a great addition. Love the vibrant reflecting color, the distressed bricks and the great composition.
